Which games have the lowest house edge in the casino? We have sorted all common casino games by the house edge and present the casino games’ ranking with the best house edge.

Ultimate Texas Hold’em

House edge: 0.5%

Our leaderboard leads a pretty nondescript game: Ultimate Texas Holdem. The game is relatively fresh on the market and is offered not only in online casinos but also live with a very low house edge. The game has a certain amount of strategy that you have to master to get such a low house edge, but this strategy is easy to learn.

Blackjack

House edge: 0.28% – 0.8%

Blackjack is the supreme discipline in most casinos when it comes to a house edge advantageous for the player. The house edge of the casino varies a lot according to the usual rules but is – if the player plays optimally – always less than one percent. You should always prefer blackjack games where the dealer is no longer allowed to draw at Soft-17. These have a better house edge.

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker

House edge: 0.53% – 1.47%

With a house edge of 0.53% (according to Las Vegas rules), Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is also an extremely affordable casino game. These rules are used in most online casinos. The strategy at Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is not that simple as there are several points at which you can make a decision.

Baccarat

House edge: 1.06%

Baccarat is a popular game, especially for high rollers. As a player, all you have to do is bet on whether the banker or a (fictional) player wins a baccarat game. If you bet on the banker, the game has a house edge of at least 1%. However, it should be noted that most casinos only offer baccarat with very high minimum bets, and a lower house edge can quickly add up to large amounts.

Video poker

House edge: 0.46% – 1.7%

Video poker is traditionally a game that is offered in many casinos with a very low house edge. The reason is that many players have no idea how to play the game properly, and so even if the machine has a 99.5% payout ratio (i.e., a house edge of 0.5%), they only make out 95% or less get out of the machine.

Deuces Wild Poker

House edge: 0.01% – 2.4%

Deuces Wild is a special form of video poker. Here two are considered wild cards, and it is correspondingly easier to hit a good hand. Of course, the payouts are also somewhat lower here. In some live casinos, there are so-called full-pay deuces wild machines with a payout ratio of 99.99 percent with optimal gaming. But in most online casinos, machines with a slightly worse odds and a higher house edge are offered, which is why this game only made it into the middle of our ranking.

Craps

House edge: 1.36%

It is possible to play craps with a clear house edge. If you restrict yourself to simple bets (Pass / Don’t Pass, Come / Don’t Come), the house edge is 1.36 and 1.41 percent. However, other bets are much worse for the player and have a house edge of up to 17%.
